THE THREE BRIDGES AUDIO WALK

Three Bridges QR.png

The Three Bridges Walk is a 3.6km ramble around the River Shannon in Limerick City, in the south-west of Ireland. Crossing Shannon, Sarsfield and Thomond Bridges, the Three Bridges Walk takes in many of Limerick’s best landmarks and is a great way to get a sense of the Treaty City.

The Three Bridges Audio Walk brings this walk to life with audio stories of the people, past and present, who walk along these three bridges. To experience the walk, simply download the ECHOES.XYZ app and scan the QR code on this page or follow this link.

Begin your walk at Arthur's Quay Park and follow along the river Shannon until you reach your first stop or 'Echo': the Terry Wogan Statue at Poor Man's Kilkee. Continue walking the route, following the purple circles of the Echoes. As you pass each Echo, the GPS in the ECHOES.XYZ map will trigger a new story.

You can check out the Route Map here.

Say hello to people you pass as you walk around this route, and remember to take some pictures at Limerick's most Instagram-worthy spots. And don't forget to share and tag with the hashtag #ThreeBridges to connect with the Three Bridges community in Limerick and beyond.
